제목 Heavy Quarks in Quark-Gluon Plasma and Heavy Dark Matter Particles in Early Universe

초 록
We discuss our recent works on the chemical equilibration of heavy quarks in Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP) environment and their implications on the population of heavy dark matter particles in early universe. These works are based on our lattice gauge theory calculation of Non-Relativistic Quantum ChromoDynamics (NRQCD) for the strong interaction. We conclude that if the interactions are non-perturbative and non-linear, the temperature effect on the number density of heavy particles can be very subtle and may be quite larger than a naive, perturbative expectation.
