In this talk, we will explore the 'Message in a Bottle (MIAB)' initiative, conceptualized as a contemporary counterpart to the iconic Voyager Golden Records. This initiative is designed to encapsulate humanity's collective achievements and aspirations, aiming to serve as a beacon for potential extraterrestrial civilizations and a timeless testament for future generations here on Earth. Our discussion will center around the interdisciplinary strategies necessary for such an ambitious project, highlighting the significant technological and computational advancements since the Voyager missions. While this concept aligns with the theoretical framework of prospective interstellar missions, its development invites wide-ranging collaboration, particularly from the scientific community. This seminar seeks to ignite a dynamic discourse on the conceptualization, goals, and potential contents of MIAB, encouraging input and insights from various scientific and creative disciplines.
